The customer must inform jFab Design of known hazards, restricted areas, pets, access requirements, security procedures, and other site conditions that may affect our work.
jFab Design may integrate with equipment, wiring, networks, systems, or infrastructure installed by others.
We cannot guarantee the reliability, compatibility, condition, or continued operation of existing equipment or third-party systems.
If existing equipment fails, becomes incompatible, or requires additional work during installation or service, additional charges may apply.
jFab Design is not responsible for defects, failures, or improper installation performed by previous contractors, manufacturers, utility providers, internet service providers, or other third parties.
If a customer asks jFab Design to install, program, integrate, or troubleshoot customer-provided equipment, we cannot guarantee that the equipment will be compatible with the customer’s system or function as intended.
Labor performed on customer-provided equipment is generally chargeable regardless of whether the equipment ultimately operates successfully.
Manufacturer warranty claims for customer-provided products remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Products supplied by jFab Design may include manufacturer warranties.
Manufacturer warranties are governed solely by the applicable manufacturer’s terms, conditions, exclusions, and warranty periods.
jFab Design does not control manufacturer warranty decisions and cannot guarantee that a manufacturer will approve a warranty claim.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, jFab Design’s labor, programming, installation, removal, shipping, or replacement costs associated with warranty service may not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and may be billable.
Many modern technology systems rely on internet service, Wi-Fi, cloud platforms, mobile applications, manufacturer servers, or third-party subscriptions.
jFab Design cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of systems that depend on services outside our control.
We are not responsible for outages, performance issues, or loss of functionality caused by:
Recurring subscriptions or third-party service charges are the customer’s responsibility unless expressly included in a written agreement.
Technology products may receive automatic software, application, or firmware updates from manufacturers.
These updates may change features, functionality, interfaces, compatibility, or system behavior.
jFab Design is not responsible for changes caused by manufacturer software or firmware updates.
If additional programming or service is required following an update, such work may be billable unless covered by an applicable jFab Design service agreement.
Customers are responsible for safeguarding passwords, PINs, access codes, administrator credentials, and third-party accounts associated with their systems.
Customers should change temporary or default credentials when appropriate and avoid sharing sensitive credentials with unauthorized persons.
jFab Design is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials, customer actions, third-party account breaches, or failures to maintain proper account security.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that surveillance cameras, audio recording systems, video doorbells, microphones, access control devices, and related equipment are installed and used in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
jFab Design provides technology installation and integration services and does not provide legal advice regarding surveillance, recording, employee monitoring, privacy, or consent requirements.
Customers should consult qualified legal counsel if they have questions regarding where or how surveillance or recording equipment may legally be used.
No security, surveillance, access control, alarm, water detection, monitoring, or automation system can eliminate all risk of theft, intrusion, fire, water damage, property loss, injury, or other events.
Technology systems are intended to provide additional tools and information but should not be considered a guarantee that an incident will be detected, prevented, reported, or stopped.
Customers remain responsible for appropriate insurance coverage, physical security, emergency procedures, maintenance, and reasonable precautions.
When authorized by the customer, jFab Design may remotely access compatible equipment for programming, diagnostics, maintenance, monitoring, or technical support.
Remote access may depend on internet connectivity, manufacturer services, network configuration, or third-party platforms.
The customer authorizes reasonable remote access when requesting remote support.
Additional fees may apply for remote support unless included under an active service or support agreement.
Service and troubleshooting fees compensate jFab Design for technician time, travel, diagnostics, and expertise.
A service charge does not guarantee that a problem can be repaired during the initial visit.
Additional visits, parts, manufacturer support, replacement equipment, specialty contractors, or further diagnostics may be required.
Problems caused by third-party equipment, internet providers, electrical systems, customer modifications, manufacturer outages, or other conditions outside our control remain billable unless otherwise agreed.
Payment terms will be specified on the applicable invoice, estimate, proposal, or agreement.
Customers agree to pay invoices according to those terms.
Deposits may be required before equipment is ordered or work is scheduled.
jFab Design may suspend work, programming, product delivery, or future service if an account becomes past due.
Returned payments, collection expenses, and other costs associated with unpaid balances may be charged where permitted by law.
Certain products are custom-configured, made-to-order, programmed, fabricated, or specially ordered for a customer’s project.
Deposits or payments associated with special-order equipment may be non-refundable once products have been ordered, manufactured, programmed, or shipped.
Cancellation terms applicable to a specific project will be identified in the customer’s proposal or agreement where appropriate.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of equipment supplied by jFab Design transfers to the customer after full payment has been received.
jFab Design may retain ownership rights in unpaid equipment to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The jFab Design name, logo, website design, graphics, written materials, photographs, videos, project images, diagrams, and other original content are owned by or licensed to jFab Design and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, republished, or commercially used without prior written permission from jFab Design.
Manufacturer names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
jFab Design may photograph completed work for documentation, training, portfolio, website, or marketing purposes when appropriate.
We will make reasonable efforts not to publish information that identifies a customer’s private residence or reveals sensitive security information.
If a customer does not want project photographs used for marketing purposes, the customer should notify jFab Design in writing.
Our website or services may reference or link to third-party manufacturers, applications, websites, payment providers, or service providers.
jFab Design does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, products, or services.
Use of third-party services is subject to the applicable third party’s own terms and policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, jFab Design will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our website, products, systems, or services.

jFab Design will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, utility interruptions, internet outages, labor disruptions, government actions, supply-chain interruptions, transportation delays, manufacturer shortages, civil emergencies, or similar events.
